You can create a profile for free at each of the 3 credit reporting agencies, Experian, Equifax, and Transunion. In other words, you can view the information on your credit report anytime you choose, at no cost to you. When you go to the website, the “Click here” on the primary page is not the free option. You will have to click a few tabs to get to the free credit report. I can help you with that, just let me know. You will have to provide your personal information. You may have to answer some questions, or call, if they cannot instantly verify you. It can be annoying, but it is necessary. Once you are in, start familiarizing yourself with the website. Update your information, then look for errors. Correcting errors can be the easiest and least expensive way to improve your score. I suggest logging in at least once a month. Spend some time reviewing your report, paying close attention to any changes. Also, read an article or two, educate your yourself to an 800 credit score.
